Working out can be a daunting task. With busy schedules, these days, fitting a workout into your busy lifestyle can be tough. There is always a solution to a problem that you’re having, and that solution is Bulletproof Vibe. What is Bulletproof Vibe? Bulletproof Vibe is a 15-minute whole body workout and vibration therapy.

Listed below are some of the benefits of using the Bulletproof Vibe:

Detoxifies and strengthens the immune system (by moving the lymph system).

Helps build/regain muscle strength and bone density.

Reduces workout recovery time.

Stimulates healthier brain function.

Give you huge bursts of energy!

Your might be saying right now, “how do you use this?” And the answer is simple: you simply stand on the Bulletproof Vibe, and the vibrations will travel from the feet through the spine and into the head. Be sure to stand on the Vibe with your knees bent. It’s best to always set your posture this way so that your head does not shake. Keep in mind that any movement while standing on the Bulletproof Vibe will have an increased benefit.

Stretching will be way more efficient, workout routines will return better results, and normally unused muscles or tissues will be stimulated. Try doing some standing yoga poses on the Vibe. You can also perform push-ups while on the Vibe.

How long should you use it? 5-15 minutes depending on how you feel. It is safe to use the Vibe every day if you choose to do so. It’s recommended to start using the product 2-3 times per week for only 5-10 minutes each session. The Vibe will introduce a new stimulus to your body, and you should give your body time to adapt to it. After a week or two, you may start to increases your sessions’ frequency and duration. As always, continue use with caution and listen to your body.

BulletProof: A Way Of Life

bulletproof

I’m proud to announce that I will be an affiliate for Bulletproof starting today. After much consideration, I have decided to take this step. I’ve been using Bulletproof products for over three years, and I’ll never forget when I made my first cup of Bulletproof coffee. When you first take a sip of Bulletproof coffee, you’re going to feel like a superhero. You’ll feel energized, focused, and ready to take on whatever comes your way. The founder of Bulletproof coffee, Dave Asprey, has brought a lot of attention to how we eat, what we eat, and most of all, how we take care of ourselves. Dave Asprey continues to pave the way on how to be more healthy and how to achieve optimal performance in your everyday life. You can expect to see product reviews, informational posts, and how Bulletproof products fit into my lifestyle. Even if you don’t fully immerse yourself into the Bulletproof way of life, my goal is to inform you and educate you on something that will benefit the way that you live your life.

Sincerely,

Justin Marroquin

I’m very excited to introduce you to my first guest that I’ve selected to interview in 2017. She’s insanely beautiful, insightful, and full of life. Ashley Resch is not your typical model. Aside from being a model, Ashley is also a blogger (ashleyresch.co), an athlete/personal trainer (bbmovement aka Bad Bitch Fitness), and she’s also very active on social media. Ashely stuck out to me with her down-to-earth personality, and how she views life. I hope you enjoy this interview and hope that you learn a thing (or two) from Ashley.

How did you get interested in modeling?

When I was a kid, I grew up watching so many different fashion programs that since I was a young girl, I knew I was interested in modeling; it has been a lifelong dream.

When you began modeling, what was the most challenging aspect of it?

The criticism. When I first started modeling, I wanted people to accept what I was doing and take me seriously right off the bat, and that was challenging because only my family really supported me until I had to prove everyone wrong.

Did you have a lot of confidence before modeling, or was it something that you had to work on?

I definitely did not. I had just started experiencing anxiety from being bullied in high school, which I didn’t know how to control, and to top that off, I started a career where everyone would be judging me. It was something I had to work on quickly, but now modeling has given me more confidence than I ever thought was possible.

What are your morning rituals? What do the first 60 minutes of your day look like?

Every morning I start my day by making tea and rolling out/stretching from my workout the day before and planning my day/week ahead.

When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person who comes to mind and why?

My parents. They didn’t grow up with a lot and yet they gave my brother and I the best childhood and upbringing. I think of them when I think of being successful because they made so many sacrifices throughout their lives to make sure they could create the lives they wanted for their kids, but also so they could live their dream life; it’s incredibly inspirational.

What have you changed your mind about in the last few years? Why?

Within the past few years, I have transitioned from a girl to a woman. My largest change I have made is to be an optimist instead of being pessimistic.

What is something you believe that other people think is insane?

I am deathly afraid of birds, so much that I run away screaming like a little girl. People don’t understand how terrifying they are.

Do you read? If so, what book (or books) have had an impact on your life?

Yes! I love reading. The book that has had the biggest impact on my life is ‘Sharp Objects’ by Gillian Flynn.

What is the worst advice you see or hear being dispensed in your world?

Especially in the modeling industry, the pressure to have the “perfect body” is still huge regardless of the many efforts from women around the world. Just be you and work hard for everything you want, and everything will fall into place.

How has a failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success? Or, do you have a favorite failure of yours?

I don’t have a favorite failure because I strongly believe that every failure happens to push me down the path I belong, so in this regard, every failure would be my favorite because it has lead me here today and will keep driving me throughout my life.

Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?

It would be a tie between “Positive Mind= Positive Life” or “Everything Happens for a Reason.” These quotes are constantly helping me through hard times, and times of doubt.

What advice would you give your younger self?

To stay positive even in the toughest times because it will get better.

What topic would you speak about if you were asked to give a TED talk on something outside of your main area of expertise?

I would love to become a TED talker and be able to talk about the impact of social media in both a negative and positive way. I was cyber bullied throughout high school, and now I have a career around social media, and I would want to talk about the importance of hard work, and a positive mindset in the worst situations.

Is there a particular goal that you’ve set for yourself to achieve by the end of this year?

I want to give back to my community, one of my large goals is to implement charity work in my monthly routine.

What can my audience expect to see from you in the future?

I hope to be in magazines around the world, and working with global brands, so expect to see me on your local news stands.

Any last parting words?

Thank you! Thank you so much for having me, and all the support!

How to Become The Macgyver of Coffee

Coffee

Caffeine is a powerful stimulant and it makes us alert, focused, and productive. But have you ever wondered about how to “hack” your coffee? There are good ways to make coffee and bad ways, but I have found a different way to make a cup of Joe. I’ve written about Bulletproof coffee before, but I have a few minor adjustments that I’ve made to making this particular coffee.

To make Bulletproof coffee, you’ll need these items:

1. Coffee: Dave Asprey recommends his coffee (for obvious reasons), but you don’t have to use his coffee. You can use any K-cup coffee that you like or you can use any bag of coffee that you prefer.

2. MCT Oil: Again, Dave Asprey recommends you buy his, but I’ve found another MCT oil that works just as good. I use Now sports MCT oil.

3. Butter: There is no way around this one. You’re gonna need Kerrygold unsalted butter. Why? Because salted butter will make you puke, and unsalted butter is from cows that are grass-fed, not corn.

4. Blender: Any blender will do just fine, but I use the “Bullet.”

Disclaimer: Please know that trying this type of coffee blend will be different for everyone. Some will experience increased energy, decrease in hunger, etc. While others will not get any added benefits by drinking this particular coffee blend. My advice to you is find what works for you, and stick with it. There will be a trial and error with this process, but that’s the fun part. Finding out what works best for you and your lifestyle.

Here’s how to make “Bulletproof” coffee:

1. Brew coffee by K-cup method or through a coffee maker (approx. 8 0z.).

2. Put a tablespoon of unsalted butter in your coffee.

3. Add a tablespoon of MCT oil in your coffee with the butter.

4. Blend everything in a blender for 20-30 seconds.

5. Enjoy! You’ve just made a supercharged cup of coffee.

It’s always fun to try new things, and you never know what you may discover by doing so. If you end up trying this coffee out, please let me know in the comments section.

Why Bulletproof Coffee Should be 1 of the 7 Deadly Sins

Bulletproof

Have you ever considered putting butter in your coffee? I’m gonna take a wild guess, and say you haven’t. It might sound like a bad idea to you, but I can assure you that it’s not. Dave Asprey, the founder of Bulletproof and author of New York Times bestseller The Bulletproof Diet, is a Silicon Valley investor and technology entrepreneur who has sparked millions of people to try Bulletproff Coffee. The basis of Bullet Proof coffee is to provide you with razor-sharp focus, mental clarity, and boundless energy. Having tested and tried this coffee myself, I can vouch for the claims that Dave Asprey is making. Upon drinking my first cup of Bullet Proof coffee, I felt instantly energized, and I was focused like I’ve never been before. There was something to this special blend of coffee, and I was hooked. Needless to say, I got away from being “Bulletproof” and it wasn’t until recently–when my girlfriend was interested in trying Bulletproof coffee–that I got back into being “Bulletproof” and I realized that I was ignorant for ever getting away from it. Just like anyone would do, Mr. Asprey presents a business with his “Bulletproof” line of products. I’ve tried several of his products, and they’re all legit. The only problem that you’ll run into with his products–is that they’re a bit pricey. For some, that won’t be a problem but for others–it will be. So, I devised a plan for you to enjoy Bulletproof coffee on a budget. Now some “Bulletproofers” will not agree with my plan, but this is for people who want to enjoy Bulletproof coffee, at an affordable price. After trying a ton of coffee (some good and some not so good) and with the help of my girlfriend (she’s a barista at Starbucks) I came up with this plan. In addition to my plan, I will also include the original Bulletproof coffee recipe. Have fun making this coffee, and let me know if you liked it (or not).

The original Bulletproof Coffee recipe

2 cups of hot brewed coffee made with Upgraded beans

Up to 2 tablespoons grass-fed unsalted butter

Up to 2 tablespoons Brain Octane MCT oil

Here is my alternative Bulletproof Coffee recipe

One brewed Starbucks K Cup (Veranda Blend Blonde or Pike Place Roast)

Up to 2 tablespoons grass-fed unsalted butter. This ingredient is an absolute must. If you try this with salted butter, you will most likely throw up; it’s disgusting (trust me).

Up to 2 tablespoons MCT oil.

Add Stevia to taste.

Once you brew the coffee, put in your MCT oil, butter, and stevia (if you like). Blend all ingredients in a blender. I use the “Bullet” brand blender, but any blender will do. Blend for 20-30 seconds, and you’ve just made yourself one heck of a cup of coffee. There you have it. Not everyone is going to like this type of coffee, but that’s okay. It’s all about experimenting and seeing what works for you and your body.

Why 7 Minute Workouts are the Secret Ingredient

7 Minute Workout

Should I workout or not? That question is always bouncing back and forth in our heads, like a tennis match. Well, now there seems to be an effective way to squeeze that workout in, whether you’re busy or not. The New York Times has come out with their “Scientific 7 Minute Workout” app on your phone, tablet, or computer. To be honest, I’ve only tried it once, and that’s not enough to tell if worked properly. I’ll be giving this workout a trial run, and if it’s effective or not, I’ll let you know. Until then, check out the app linked below.
