Hailing from the UK, Samantha Huggins is not only an alluring model, but a Disney lover, and also a gamer (Xbox to be exact). Samantha is an exciting, fun, and witty woman. Having already appeared in Zoo Magazine early on in her modeling career, Samantha Huggins is quickly making a name for herself in the industry, and there is no limit on what this exceptional woman can accomplish.
Justin Marroquin: What got you interested in modeling?
Samantha Huggins: It’s always been something I have wanted to have a go at and been interested in, but I never thought I would actually have the chance to do it! Still find it crazy now. Ever since my very first shoot, I absolutely fell in love, and knew it was something I could see myself being happy doing as a career. It’s something I have become passionate about, and always get a buzz from shoots.
Justin Marroquin: To date, what has been the best experience for you while modeling?
Samantha Huggins: I have had a few; I’ve done some filming recently, which has been really awesome. I’ve met and worked with so many lovely people. I did a beach shoot a few weeks back, where I had to get some shots of me in the sea; the waves were quite rough that day, and I was being hit quite hard by the water; I ended up being pushed all over the pebbles and was trying to hold onto them for dear life (Ha ha!). Had a great laugh; it was a lot of fun.
Justin Marroquin: Is there anything specific that you would like to accomplish in the modeling world?
Samantha Huggins: I have a major love for lingerie, so to be the face of a major lingerie campaign for companies like Agent Provocateur would be amazing. I also would love to design my own lingerie one day.
Justin Marroquin: Do you have any beliefs or values that are important to you?
Samantha Huggins: I believe you should treat people how you would like to be treated. You don’t need a reason to be nice or to help others; making someones day is the best feeling.
Justin Marroquin: Who has been the biggest influence in your life?
Samantha Huggins: My family and friends are a great influence as they are so supportive; they are amazing. For them to genuinely be happy for your happiness and achievements is the best feeling ever—I can’t thank them enough. Another influence would be one of my idols, Lady Gaga. She inspires me to have confidence, to not care about what people think, and to never give up. She isn’t afraid to be different. I respect her a lot for that.
Justin Marroquin: You’re also a gamer. How did you get into gaming, and what are your favorite games to play?
Samantha Huggins: I’ve been gaming since I was very young. One of my best memories is playing Crash Bandicoot on the PS1 with my sisters! I used to watch them play, then eventually had a go myself. I can get very competitive! My favorite games to play are Cod, GTAV, and Left 4 Dead. I love horror games—I like to be scared!
Justin Marroquin: What are some of your other interests and hobbies?
Samantha Huggins: I love going out with friends, enjoying a good cocktail, and socializing. I have a girly side where I love shopping, looking for new clothes, shoes, beauty and makeup products, and I have a boyish side where I love going to the pub and watching football! I love to draw, cook, and I’m a big animal lover. I’ve grown up with all sorts of different pets such as cats, rabbits, birds, fish, you name it! I absolutely adore Pugs; I really want to own one (hopefully soon!)
Justin Marroquin: What’s a typical day like for you?
Samantha Huggins: A typical day has to start with a nice cup of tea! I like to keep myself busy. If I’m not shooting, I’m usually doing photo shoot prep, and the boring stuff like emails etc. If I’m shooting, then it’s a day of hard work, but amazing work! I do love a cozy duvet when I get the chance, cooking food, watching films, gaming, etc. Everyone needs some time out to relax now and again.
Justin Marroquin: How do you go about accomplishing your dreams and goals?
Samantha Huggins: Staying positive is key; banishing negative thoughts, and never giving up.
Justin Marroquin: Share some advice that has helped you tremendously thus far in your life?
Samantha Huggins: There is a quote by Dita Von Teese that I love. “You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, and there’s still going to be somebody who hates peaches.” You can’t please everyone, and that’s okay. As long as you be yourself, the people who matter will always be around. Life’s too short to worry about what other people think or what they think of you; to be doing something you don’t enjoy, or living with regrets. Do what makes you happy!
