Jessica Trollinger (AKA Jekabells) is an aspiring model from California. Being a geek and lover of Star Wars, Jessica is looking to make her mark in the modeling industry. With her stunning looks and bubbling personality, I think she’ll definitely make some noise, and it’s only a matter of time before this beautiful woman is seen in magazines, TV shows, movies, and maybe even in your favorite comic book (Wonder Woman, perhaps?). Whichever direction she chooses to go, I have no doubt that Jessica will leave a lasting impression.
Justin Marroquin: How did you get interested in modeling?
Jessica Trollinger: I’ve always been interested in modeling, but it was an off and on kind of thing because I didn’t have support from loved ones that I felt like I needed. I think it was 7th grade when I really became interested in modeling.
Justin Marroquin: When you made the decision to start modeling, what steps did you take in order to become one?
Jessica Trollinger: I booked shoots with local photographers like Nathan Frye, Sierra Ross, Jay Suder, and Joshua Sa. They were all amazing photographers! But I continued to have setbacks from modeling with how my personal life was going, and with the lack of support and all the negativity that constantly surrounded me. I felt like I stood alone, and it got hard to push through at times. It was a continuous battle to ignore the negative people in my life. Slowly but surely, I pushed through anyway! And now I am an adult, and I’m working and taking care of myself—and I can take charge of what I want!
Justin Marroquin: What was your first photo shoot experience like?
Jessica Trollinger: My first photo shoot was in 7th grade, and I loved it! I was very nervous and remember trying to hide the fact I was slightly uncomfortable, ha ha. But it was a great experience and was the reason I grew such a love for modeling!
Justin Marroquin: Going into it, was modeling different from what you thought it would be?
Jessica Trollinger: I never really had a vision of what it would be like! I never assumed what it would be like either. I kind of just went with it, and hoped for the best! Lol.
Justin Marroquin: What kind of criticism and negativity have you faced so far, and how did you deal with it?
Jessica Trollinger: I’ve faced so much criticism and negativity throughout all of it. Most of my family members have always disagreed with it, thought it was a waste of time, and still think it is to this day. A few really close people in my life told me that I wouldn’t get anywhere, and that I wasn’t good enough to really model, and I had some telling me that I was disgusting for trying to objectify my body. There has been so many negative reactions! Lol, but I’m really good at not letting it affect me anymore. It used to bring me down a lot! But I learned that there’s always going to be people who disagree with things you do! So you need to do what you feel is right for you, and don’t let people get in the way. It’s my life, and don’t get me wrong, I would love to have more support, but I realize that lack of support isn’t going to stop me from getting to where I want to be in life!
Justin Marroquin: Do you have a favorite memory in modeling that sticks out to you?
Jessica Trollinger: I think one of my most favorites is when I went to the casting for Playboy Playmate! I worked with Joel Flora, and I had a blast! Was so much fun! And it led to meeting some really amazing people at a Halloween party with him a few days later!
Justin Marroquin: Describe what the modeling industry is like from your point of view?
Jessica Trollinger: Aha, I’m still trying to figure that out lol, but I love it!
Justin Marroquin: Besides modeling, what else interests you and fuels your passion?
Jessica Trollinger: To be in the next Hobbit movie, or Star Wars movie! I need to be an elf one day lol. But I love running, or should I say jogging? I’m pretty slow, ha ha. I love pets and animals! I would do anything to help—I love volunteering at different organizations, and helping when I can!
Justin Marroquin: Is there any specific achievement or goal that you wish to accomplish in modeling?
Jessica Trollinger: Yes, one of my main goals in modeling that I want to accomplish is to become a Playmate!
Justin Marroquin: Tell me what people can expect from you in the near future?
Jessica Trollinger: They can expect more pictures and hopefully, a lot of progress from me!
