You will not come across a more real and honest model than Charlie Hart. She is strong-minded, and she is also a student (business major) all while she is making a name for herself in the modeling industry. Get to know the Texas beauty, and what she thinks about modeling, setting goals, and photo shoots.

Justin Marroquin: How did you get into modeling?

Charlie Hart: It kind of started because I needed a part-time job, and I really wanted to change the outlook of what a bikini model should look like. I was tired of seeing those little girls; I have three younger sisters that look up to these overly skinny models. Granted fashion models are way worse, but I didn’t want my sisters thinking they needed to look like Adriana Lima to be beautiful.

CH: My goal is to just be happy, and make others happy. That’s literally the most important thing to me.

JM: How do you handle negativity?

CH: You grow thick skin! But at the same time it motivates you to do better, and prove to people who have been negative to you wrong.

JM: What do you like most about modeling?

CH: All the cool people I get to meet. Signings are like my favorite thing to do in the world because I get to interact with my fans face to face, and get to know a little bit about them in the few seconds I get.

JM: What don’t you like about modeling?

CH: The stigma that I can receive from it. A lot of people will assume I walk around in smokey eye shadow and a bikini all day long. Oh, and also people will assume I’m not a friendly person because, well, most models don’t have the best reputation for that.

CH: Oh definitely. You have to set goals, especially little ones if you’re ever going to reach your dream!

JM: What is your dream photo shoot?

CH: For FHM, or Maxim in Espanol. I’m dying to do it.

JM: Share one piece of advice that has helped you the most in life?

CH: Probably just to never take no as an answer. My family raised me to always pull the impossible.
